Sharpening Services
Here at Iceman Tools a large variety of ice sculpting tools can be brought back to life, including (but not limited to): chisels, chisel handle replacement and custom chisel handles, knives, end mills, large paddle drill bits, extended reach luge drill bits, toothed rotary cutters, rotary knives, V bits, sphere bits, detail bits, hand saws, and chainsaw chains.
Pricing Details
Here is a basic sharpening price line up:
$22 for a 3" flat,
$18 for 2" flat,
$15 for a 1" flat,
$24 for a 3" gouge,
$20 for a 2" gouge,
$17 for standard size V chisels .
$20 to $35 for hand saw.
$20 for Ice knife
Add an extra $5 for chisels with 1/16" chips or where the edge needs to be trued (edge is not perpendicular to handle) by more than 1/16".
Custom kydex covers to protect your chisels are the price of the tool's sharpen. Kydex covers for rotary tools also available, ask for pricing.
Chisel handle replacement 16" $80

Rotary tool/Endmill sharpen pricing:
$25 for 5” straight 3 flute ½” shank.
$22 for 3” ball nose ½” shank .
$17 for 2" long 1/4" shank.
$7 add for tapered endmills.
Sharpening available for 1/4" upto 1" diameter endmills. Max 12" length of cut.
$35-Junichi rotary knife.

Chainsaw Chain Price Guide 3\8 pitch only
Basic sharpen (I do not clean your chain) $.35 per tooth.
Ice mod $.75 per tooth on new chains only. Ice mod includes reducing the rakers 1\16" (teeth take a bigger bite), removing 3\8 off the back of each tooth (this enables the tip of the saw to cut freely, does not apply to alaskan mill chains), side of each tooth removed in a one, two skip a tooth fashion (reduces drag and allows the bar to fly through the ice), pitch of each tooth changed to 35 degrees during final sharpen.
